East Franklin is located in the Historic District of Cathedral Hill in Mount Vernon.
The neighborhood, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is also
in the Baltimore Certified Historic District for Tax Incentives. This popular
area of downtown Baltimore, is a mix of commercial, religious and institutional
buildings covering approximately 10 blocks, and is well known for its eclectic
mix of fine restaurants, shops and cultural attractions. The building, which is
